Hi, I’m Hannah (+ Willow) — the heart behind Bark & Bloom.

My journey began working in a boarding facility while putting myself through school. During that time, I discovered how much I loved understanding dogs — their behavior, their routines, and what helps them feel safe. While working full time, I earned my associate’s degree in graphic design & advertising from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, blending creativity with hands-on animal care experience.

Over the years, I stepped into leadership roles, managing dogs of all temperaments and strengthening my knowledge in behavior and safety. I take slow approaches, have first aid knowledge, and deeply committed to providing care that prioritizes comfort and trust.

My shift toward more holistic, intentional care began with my own rescue, Willow. After struggling with ongoing allergies and limited relief from conventional treatments, we sought out a holistic veterinarian and began learning more about whole-food support, enrichment, and individualized care. Through research, community, and sharing our journey on Willow’s Instagram over the past two years, my perspective deepened.

Bark & Bloom is rooted in that experience.
